1883 Dillon Schoolhouse Museum Tour
The 1883 Schoolhouse is open for tours by reservation only. See our new exhibits including "An Untold Story of Summit County: Baron’s General Store, 1899-1928," which looks at a Jewish merchant in the first two decades of Summit County. Also new to the museum is the exhibit "Ranching in Summit County/Los Ranchos del Condado de Summit," which highlights the Mendiola family who manage the Triple Creek Ranch in Silverthorne. The exhibit shares stories in both English and Spanish. The campus grounds are open for self-guided tours on these days during daylight hours. These tours will feature QR codes, scannable with your mobile device.
All events at the Museum will follow County Public health orders including social-distancing guidelines. Guests are asked to wear face coverings when inside the Schoolhouse. No more than 10 people will be allowed inside, and staff will be cleaning and disinfecting and hand sanitizer will be available.
