Our professionally trained guides will scout out the best conditions and assess avalanche danger and other potentially dangerous conditions that may not be visible to the untrained eye.
Not an expert rider? Never skied in the backcountry? No problem! If you can ride Vail’s back bowls, you can ride in our backcountry. Our professional guides will teach uphill and downhill riding technique, risk management, and talk you through decision-making. Bring your own gear or take advantage of our rental packages to get fully equipped with alpine touring boots, boards, bindings, avalanche beacon, shovels, and probes.
